The nurses of VAM are experts at inserting PICCs as
well as their care and maintenance. It is, simply, our
one and only specialty. Historically community hospitals
trained nurses to insert PICC lines in addition to maintaining
daily responsibilities.
VAM PICC Line Nursing Programs provide
everything necessary for your facility to thoroughly
and expertly bring PICC line insertion to the patient
bedside. Not only do we insert the lines, we provide
complete services, customized and specific for your
agency or institution, to maintain them.
Not all treatment plans require IV access that is centrally
paced in the Superior Vena Cava (SVC). Catheters can be
inserted at the mid-clavicular line and offer benefits
of antibiotic treatment to facilities that cannot accommodate
inserting central PICC lines. |
