In-Service Education
Whether
your facility is one in which we have established our
PICC Line Nursing Program or not, we can provide custom
PICC in-service education to address your specific requirements.
Whether a hospital, sub-acute facility, home health
care agency, hospice organization, or another professional
health care agency, a full in-service education course
can be developed for your institution.
Benefits of in-service
education are numerous. Dates and times can be prescheduled
allowing for maximum attendance and participation. We
can address a variety of topics per your requirement
or from various sources such as chart reviews, questions
we have fielded, or simply generalized content. Further,
topics can be exact such as care and maintenance, discontinuation
of PICC lines, complication assessments and treatments,
or documentation.
At the in-service conclusion, we're
able to competency your nurses based upon your internal
policy and procedures. Classes can be scheduled yearly
or individually and periodically as needed.
As members of the Infusion Nursing Society
(INS) and Association of Vascular Access (AVA) we are
provided with current trends to enhance our practice
and to educate others.
